5 Fun Family Activities for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s day is often thought of a day for romantic couples. But it’s so much more than that! For the singles, they celebrate with friends and self-love. For the couple, they have each other to shower in gifts and dinner dates. But what about for the people with families? We’ve compiled a list of fun activities for you to do with entire family on Valentine’s day!
Chocolate Fun
Since Valentine’s day is traditionally about giving your loved one’s chocolate why not make some fun out of it! You can make chocolate fondue, cupcakes, cookies, and ore! We found some great recipes that are super easy to do with your kids!

Another tradition of Valentine’s day is giving flowers! So why not make them with the entire family!
Be Royalty for the Night
Something that is super fun for families to do on Valentine’s day is dress up like royalty! You can make homemade costumes out of paper, glitter, and fabric! If you are really feeling festive you can even go out to dinner with the entire family!
Movie Night
A night filled with Valentine’s day movies can be the perfect thing if you’re looking for a nice relaxing night with the family. College Books and Cards
We mentioned a few crafty ideas here, but a really fun idea is making a scrapbook from family photos! Kids these days are so used to digital photos that it’s a ton of fun to print out photos and make your own scrap book! You can get magazines, paints, and glitter to compliment your photos. You can find blank sketch books to fill or make your own binding from blank photos. To make your own binding it can be as simple as stabling the edge, or poking holes and threading a binding. Another great idea is for everyone in the family to make one another handmade Valentine’s Day cards! You can even practice making ones that pop-up to make them super epic! The great thing about these gifts is you’ll have them for years to come as a beautiful reminder of your night.
