However, there are many other uses for Castile Soap. Makes 3 Organics offers two Organic Castile based Soaps. We call them our Liquid Soaps, and today you’ll learn about 5 unique ways you can use them around your house. You can use them in substitution of other products. 

Our Top 5 Favorite Uses for Castile Soap

Dish Soap

This one for us is a no brainer! Because soap is soap, right?  Well as long as the ingredients are as pure, and non-toxic as this soap, then yes, that’s correct! While Castile based soaps are not as thick as conventional dish soaps, it can still pack a powerful clean! Makes 3 Organics Liquid Castile Soap is crafted with pure Essential Oils leaving you with a refreshing smell in the kitchen as you wash. How to use it? Just like you would normal dish soap, straight from the bottle!  It should be noted that this is not safe for dishwashers unless you dilute it first.

Body Wash

Like our last use, this one also seems obvious! Because we present our Liquid soap in a foaming container, most people don’t think of it! However, when you buy our 32 oz Liquid Soaps it comes is a large bottle that you can use easily to soap of your loofa in the shower!  You can use it straight form the bottle, or even from our foaming pump dispenser. Because we do not use any fragrance, synthetics, or other toxins in our soap you can be assured this is safe for your body.

 Shaving

That’s right this soap can also replace your standard shaving cream! Shaving creams, especially foaming ones, can be loaded with bad ingredients that wreak havoc on your skin in the long run. If you’d like to use Liquid Soap as a substitute simple use the following measurements:

Face: use about 10 healthy drops.

Underarms: 3-5 drops

Legs: about ½ a teaspoon.

All you have to do is simply wet the desired are you’d like to shave, and apply the soap in a circular motion until it has lathered up. We recommend using a moisturizer after shaving, our All Over Body Balm is a great choice.    

Tub Scrub

One thing you most definitely never want to do is clean your tub with toxic chemicals and then soak in that tub. Try the following mixture as a toxin-free, eco-friendly, homemade tub scrub. Here are the easy steps to cleaning your tub with castile based soaps.

Step 1

Heavily spread baking soda on the tub.

Step 2

Mix 2/3 cup castile soap with1 cup water in a spray bottle.

Step 3

Spray the castile mixture on top of the backing soda.

Step 4

Scrub with a brush or sponge.

Step 5

Wipe clean.

Glass Cleaner

Want to make a great Homemade glass cleaner? Try the following mixture!

½ cup white vinegar

2 teaspoons Makes 3 Organics Liquid Soap

2 cups of distilled warm water

2 drops Lemon Essential Oil (optional but makes it more effective)

2 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil (optional but makes it more effective)

Put all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well before each use. Use newspapers to clean it ans leave it streak-free.
