Jojoba Oil is an important ingredient in all of our Organic Body Balms and Butters.  We use it to soften Shea Butter and add the extra emollient to our balms.  It is full important vitamins and minerals, including vitamins E and B-complex, zinc, copper, selenium, chromium, and iodine. 

What Jojoba Oil Can Do For Your Skin*

Moisturize and Balance

Because Jojoba Oil has a high amount of ceramides, it helps your skin stay soft and smooth.  Ceramides cover skin cells and help with hydration, creating a powerful skin barrier to environmental toxins, allergens and irritants. This oil is quickly absorbed into the skin and does not clog pores. It balances your body's own oil production which helps keep away acne. 

Anti-Aging

Jojoba oil is also effective in making skin firm and reducing the appearance of wrinkles, thus making you look younger. It has a high concentration of Vitamin E (as do most natural plant oils), which is potent in eliminating the free radicals that are responsible for skin aging.  The Linoleic Acid and other antioxidants present in Jojoba Oil help in regenerating the skin cells.

Reduce Inflammation

Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory properties that help in reducing the redness caused by dry skin and other conditions like eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.  It's anti-bacterial properties aid in fighting inflammation and can help heal minor skin abrasions and infections such as cold sores.

Extreme Moisturizing

Rough elbows, cracked heels and other difficult dryness can be aided with the use of Jojoba Oil.  When you apply our Organic Body Balms to your feet and put socks on, your feet will become smooth and soft. At the same time Jojoba Oil will help keep your cuticles nice and soft and promote healthy nail growth.  

Reduce Scars and Stretch Marks

Regular use of Jojoba Oil will reduce the appearance of scarring and stretch marks.  Use it regularly during pregnancy to help prevent them.
